The Bluffers Guide to Brexit

A best-selling author from Dorset is releasing a witty book to help people 'bluff their way through Brexit'.

Boris Starling has written 'The Bluffer's Guide to Brexit' - which comes out this week.

79% of Brits have admitted to bluffing about Brexit and 26% admit to bluffing their way through politics in general in conversations with friends and colleagues at work.

Boris He's hoping it will help people who aren't very politics-savvy get through the next few months.

He told Wessex FM: "You constantly hear things like 'no deal.' You hear Brexit means Brexit a lot from the Prime Minster. You hear a lot about re-leavers who are remainers who now think we should leave even though they voted to remain, because that's the way the vote went and we should get on with it."

Britain is a nation of bluffers! An incredible 79% of Brits bluff about things they know nothing about - including Brexit.

  • According to new research nearly eight in ten (79%) Brits find themselves having a conversation on a subject they're clueless on
  • 45% of Brits admit to using buzzwords in conversations to sound more intelligent
  • More than one in three of us (34%) have no idea what is going on with Brexit at the moment, but that doesn't stop us from having an opinion on May and Merkel - 25% think Theresa May is bluffing her way through Brexit!
