UPDATED - Two teens hurt in Wareham attack

Detectives investigating an altercation in Wareham have made a second arrest.

At around 9.20pm on Wednesday 22 August 2018 Dorset Police received reports of a disturbance in the area of Mill Lane.

Officers attended and found a 15-year-old local boy receiving medical treatment for a small puncture wound to his leg at Abbot’s Quay. He was subsequently taken to hospital for further treatment.

Another 15-year-old local boy suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 15-year-old boy from Wareham was previously arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and has been released under investigation.

A second 15-year-old local boy has also now been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and has been released under investigation.

Detectives are still appealing for any witnesses to the disturbance who have not already spoken to police to come forward.
