It's back to normal for pupils and staff attending St Augustine's Catholic Primary School in Weymouth today. (11 October)

The school was closed yesterday as a precaution after a suspected chemical leak.

A statement on the school's website says: "We can also confirm that children and staff were never in danger and early indications show that the issue was caused by a cleaning related process and the matter is now in hand."

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, however, we must always prioritise the safety and well-being of all children and staff."

St Augustine's will be open as normal today. (11 October)
