The Magpies faced a glamour tie at Barnet for a place in the third round of the FA Trophy. Ben Seymour scored for Dorchester, but they went on to lose 2-1.

Weymouth meanwhile made the five hundred plus mile round trip to Ramsbottom. Jake McCarthy and Calvin Brooks were both on target, but a last gasp equaliser from the home side made the final result 2-2. The replay is at the Bob Lucas on Tuesday night.

In the Toolstation Western League, Bridport hosted Bitton at St Mary's field, and despite a brace from Cameron Andrews they lost 4-2.

Whilst in the Wessex League Premier, Portland United travelled to Tadley Calleva and it finished 2-2.

In rugby and both Dorchester and Puddletown lost their games.
