Warning over suspicious vehicle in West Dorset

We're being warned to look at for a suspicious vehicle which has been seen in rural West Dorset.

Dorset Police's Rural Crime Team say the occupants of the Silver Ford Transit van, registration OU**WHJ have been acting suspiciously around farms and outbuildings.

When challenged the driver claimed he was looking for scrap metal.

Police are encouraging people to be on the lookout for the vehicle and to report it if seen.

Call 999 if the occupants are committing crime or 101 for non-emergencies.
