Neighbours have objected to plans for 12 one-bed flats at Westerhall Road, Weymouth.

The application involves the demolition of an existing home at Garden House, 10 Westerhall Road and replacing it with 12 flats and ten parking spaces.

Several neighbours have written to the local planning committee to say the site is too small for the development and claim it will lead to further parking problems in the area as well as neighbouring properties suffering from a loss of light or being overlooked.

The application is still open for public consultation and can be found on the Dorsetforyou website, or by contacting Weymouth and Portland Borough Council planning department.
