A major rescue operation was launched over the weekend after a man was spotted walking on top of the arch at Durdle Door.

Two fire engines and two technical rescue teams were dispatched.

The 28-year-old man who had climbed over the safety barrier, told rescuers he just wanted to "have a look."

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service are urging people to think about how reckless actions can impact on resources.
