A motorcyclist died after an accident in Lyme Regis last summer.

A Weymouth man has been charged after a fatal crash in Lyme Regis.

It happened at 10.19am on Saturday 2nd June last year and involved black Honda motorcycle and a silver Honda CR-V at Dragons Hill, near to the entrance to the Timber Vale Caravan Park.

Sadly the motorcyclist, a 44-year-old man from Exeter, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

A 65-year-old man from Weymouth appeared at Weymouth Magistrates' Court yesterday (15 April). He's been charged with causing death by careless driving.

He is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday 6 June 2019.
