A company wants to build 5 industrial units there.

Five industrial units could be built off Lerret Road on Portland.

Tidebank UK Ltd has asked for planning permission for the units, north of the Victoria Building, previously used as a police station.

The units, in one block, will, if approved, create around 800 square metres of space together with parking for 26 cars. Each unit will have a ground floor area of 110 square metres, with a further 50 square metres of storage at first floor level.

Public comments is invited on the scheme until May 6th. Portland Town Council is also being asked for its comments on the proposals.
