A brand new website offering advice and information for young people with mental health issues in Dorset has had more than 7,000 views in the first few weeks.

The new online resource is mobile friendly and features a lot more content, including videos by people who lived with mental health problems.

Young people can find out about what support is on offer, and there's also information for parents and carers.

New CAMHS website

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) site has been produced by Dorset HealthCare and designed in partnership with young service users and their families.

Replacing the old 'Where's Your Head At?' site, it provides a one-stop-shop for anyone needing help and advice with stress, anxiety, eating disorders and other mental health issues.

Stuart Lynch, CAMHS manager at Dorset HealthCare, said:

"We would like to thank all the young people who contributed their time and experience to the development of this project. Their guidance and feedback made all the difference. Hopefully we will see the website develop and grow as we receive further feedback from the children, young people, parents and carers who use it."
