Police search for man after criminal damage in Weymouth

He reportedly headbutted a shop window.

Police are searching for a man after he reportedly head butted a shop window in Weymouth.

Officers investigating the criminal damage incident have released a CCTV image of the suspect.

Dorset Police say the man attempted to enter Eats & Drinks store on King Street at 5.20am on Sunday 9th June, 2019.

It's been reported that after the man was told the store was not yet open he headbutted the window and punched and kicked the door, causing the bottom panel of glass to smash.

Police Constable Dan White, of Weymouth police, said: "As part of my investigation I am releasing an image of the suspect and would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.

"I would also appeal to anyone who was in the King Street area at the time and witnessed the incident to please get in touch."
