The falcon escaped while 'on duty' at DCH.

The owner of a falcon who was looking for her after she escaped whilst 'on duty' at Dorset County Hospital is thanking Wessex FM listeners and members of the public after an appeal to find her.

Luna, the five-year-old hybrid falcon, was helping handler Fin Barker manage the gulls and pigeons at DCH when she took flight in the direction of Poundbury at around 2:45pm today.

She had a tracker, but it had lost signal.

Thanks to various members of the public posting on Facebook and contacting the studio and Fin directly, Luna was safely found just after 4pm this afternoon.
