The Rotary Club is running a collection for the survivors of hurricane Dorian - and wants our help.

Donations go toward providing emergency shelter and tools for families.

Any funds given will be used to purchase provisions like Shelterboxes and Water Survival Boxes to directly benefit survivors.

Head of the International Committee at the Weymouth Rotary Club Richard Burgess said:

"When natural disasters happen across the globe Rotary steps up. We of course support many local good causes through various activities, but when we saw the devastation in the Bahamas we knew we had to do our bit.

"We want to see a world where no family is left without shelter or clean water after disaster. We want to transform despair into hope."
