Bella Ceramics have recognised this school for their eco-campaigning

Damers First School were the winners of Bella Ceramics Summer Giveaway Competition this year.

This years theme was plastic pollution.

Children at the school were given the chance to make two large wall art installations. They'll be put on display at Weymouth Sealife Adventure Park in the cafe area.

Edd Moore leads the school's Eco-club. He said:

"I think this is a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase all their plastic free campaigns.

"The whole of Weymouth and Dorchester can get to see what the children have produced today, and hopefully they might take something from that to make their lives and their worlds a better place."

Damers School's Eco-club have become well-known for their campaigning, going as far Westminster to talk to the Environment Secretary about their work.
