They simultaneously dealt with two incidents at Durdle Door on Saturday.

The team were called just before 6pm to help the ambulance service with a casualty at Durdle Door.

A teenage girl was having a severe asthma attack on the beach, which then  led to a panic attack, caused by swimming in the sea.

Paramedics arrived and began to calm the girl down and helped her with her breathing.

Meanwhile, the team were alerted to a second casualty - a heavily intoxicated man who was unable to make his way off the beach.

Team members helped walk him off the beach and up the steps and then drove him to the top of the hill where he was reunited with his partner.

However, it became clear that the couple had no way of getting home. The team then made some enquiries and found the man and his partner accommodation in West Lulworth.

With the first casualty in the care of the paramedics, and the second delivered to a local establishment to sober up, the team returned to station.

Coastguards have thanked the members of the public who helped, as well as the The Castle Inn for providing some last minute accommodation.
