Dorset Police 'satisfaction' rates revealed

Dorset police officers are getting better than 90 per cent satisfaction rates for how they treat victims of crime.

The figures were presented to councillors at a meeting of the Dorset police and crime panel.

Ninety five per cent of crime victims said that officers and staff did all they could to make them feel safe while 92 per cent were satisfied with the way they were treated – the highest figure since 2016-17.

Across the county 94 per cent said they feel safe in their local area, with Dorset coming in the top ten for the police dealing with things which matter to the community and 9th for doing a ‘good’ or ‘excellent’ job.
