Sheep put down after Bridport attack

A sheep injured in an attack near Bridport has been put down as a result of it's injuries.

It happened in a field on the south side of Allington Hill, off Lodge Lane, between 5pm on 2nd October and 9am on 3rd October. 

A Dorset Police spokesperson said it's not currently known what sort of animal attacked the sheep, but they're reminding dog owners to take care: 

"Please can we remind dog owners that they have a responsibility to keep their dog's under control at all times.

"If anyone has any information regarding this incident then please call 101 quoting crime number 55190155888."
