Weymouth Crematorium remembers those we've lost

An annual Service of Remembrance is being held at 2pm tomorrow afternoon.

The service will be led by Reverend Nick Clarke and Civil Celebrant Philippa Roberts.

Councillor Tony Alford, Dorset Council Portfolio Holder for Customer, Community and Regulatory Services, said:

"Everyone is welcome to attend this service to remember loved ones.

"This service offers a chance for us all to reflect, whatever our faith. Everyone is welcome."

The service gives us the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one, and will also include music, readings, poems and hymns.

For those who wish to remember loved ones in their own time or cannot attend the service, the chapel at Weymouth Crematorium is open for reflection and private prayer on weekdays from 9am-4:30pm when no service is in progress.

A book of remembrance is situated to the rear of the cloisters and is open weekdays at the same time, and on bank holidays between 10am-4pm.
