Three people arrested after drugs found in a car in Weymouth

A woman and two men from Bristol were detained by police after a car was pulled over in Wyke Road on Sunday.

Officers working for the county lines team searched the vehicle and its three occupants.

They found a sealed package which contained controlled drugs and a knife.

A 20-year-old woman and two men aged 22 and 45-years-old were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs and conspiracy to convey prohibited articles into HM Prison.

One of the men was also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon after a knife was found.

All three have been released under investigation while Police continue enquiries.
