A Weymouth mum's setting up a 'school uniform bank' for families across Weymouth and Portland.

It's to help parents on low incomes.

Donna Pace is asking for donations of old uniforms which she will then offer for free during a drop-in event at St Paul's Church next month.

Three schools are already on board.

Donna has 2 young children and 3 teenage boys. She said:

"Once they have grown out of their uniforms or they are fed up with their school bags I usually donate them to charity, which is equally a good cause.

"But I thought there are food banks and clothes banks. Why aren't there uniform banks where we can all donate football boots, shoes and bags, so they can all be provided to those who need them the most."
