There are speed restrictions because of the high winds.

On Saturday afternoon the high winds have meant some cancellations and delays on trains between Weymouth and Bournemouth. Speed restrictions are in place, and some train crews have been delayed due to the service disruption.

Further up the line between Basingstoke and Woking there are multiple track circuit issues, meaning that trains have to run at reduced speed. Disruption is likely until around 8pm.

Meanwhile yesterday afternoon saw Warmwell Road, Moreton closed both ways after an incident at the Moreton train station.

Rail services between Weymouth and Bournemouth were affected - with disruption until yesterday evening.
