400 trees are going to be planted at Asker Meadows nature reserve close to the heart of Bridport to create better biodiversity.

You can help join in with the planting and Wellness Day on Tuesday 26th November.

It's being organised by Asker Nature Reserve Project and the Hughes Unit Group Supporters (HUGS).

John from HUGS who signposts help for mental health issues told Wessex FM:

"It's very important to get out into the great outdoors.

"It encourages you to learn a new skills, socialise with others and maybe it could be the start of a great new social activity for people."

Anyone who would like to take part needs to meet at the new footbridge at 10:45. for 11am start on Tuesday 26th November.

Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a hot drink.
