Bird of prey rescued in Weymouth

Firefighters went to the rescue of an escaped bird of prey in Weymouth.

Jake, the Harris Hawk was found hanging upside down in a tree in Windsor Road.

He'd escaped from his Weymouth home on Saturday morning but was spotted in Upwey.

He was freed by firefighters and taken to a local vet to be checked over.
