Dorset's smallest Public Library NOW OPEN

Dorset's smallest public library is officially open to the public.

Villagers and Parish Council members gathered at its home in East Lulworth to mark the occasion.

The library and reading room were a project organised by the council.

Roy Barker opened Dorset's smallest reading room

To help celebrate its grand opening, oldest resident Roy Barker was invited to "do the honours".

Afterwards Roy took advantage of the reading room chair to "rest his pins" stating how he likes nothing better than sitting down with a good book.

The library is open to all, with the only rule being simply if you take a book, ensure you bring it back.
