7 vehicles have been targeted after a spate of criminal damage in Dorchester.

Dorset Police receive the reports over the weekend (Saturday 23 November and Sunday 24 November 2019).

On several occasions ball bearings were found at the scene.

The roads where the incidents occurred included Cambridge Road, Alice Road, Windsor Road, Baynards Road, Manor Road and Stinsford View.

Neighbourhood Inspector Darren Stanton, of Dorchester police, said:

"We appreciate the inconvenience incidents like this cause to owners. We are carrying out an investigation to identify those responsible and will be stepping up patrols in the areas affected.

"These incidents are believed to have occurred during the evenings and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the areas mentioned over the weekend to please contact us. I would also like to hear from anyone with any further information that can assist our investigation.

"Finally, I would urge anyone whose property has been targeted and has not already reported the matter to us to please get in touch."
