Property in Weymouth evicted after complaints about drugs

Dorset Police helped evict a property in Portmore Gardens after drug-related anti-social behaviour.

The eviction was carried out this morning (7 January) alongside Stonewater Housing.

A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said:

"This is as a result of complaints of drug related anti-social behaviour.

"Please continue to report your concerns so we can take the appropriate action with our partner agencies."

Stonewater says anti-social behaviour has an impact on its customers and communities, and they're committed to tackling it.

Amanda Lowder, Area Manager for Stonewater Homes said:

"Our work with The County Lines Management Team is just one example of the the work we do locally.

"This work will continue with all our partner agencies in the area to support the local community by acting quickly to prevent issues from escalating and ensuring our homes remain safe places to live."
