As Storm Dennis hits Dorset for a second day, we will keep you up to date here with what you need to know.

A Flood Alert has been issued for West Dorset.

Flooding is possible for: Bridport, Chideock, Martinstown, Milborne St. Andrew, Nottington, Piddlehinton, Piddletrenthide, Upwey, Winterborne Abbas, Winterborne Kingston, Winterborne Steepleton, Winterborne Stickland, Winterborne Whitechurch and Winterborne Zelston.



Reports of a power cut in Weymouth this morning, with power restored by 5.30am.

There was a fallen tree on the B3157 coast road this morning between Abbotsbury and Bridport.

Reports from the coastguard say part of the coast path near Swanage is collapsing.

Walkers are being advised to stay away from the cliff edge.

We're getting reports that the traffic lights round Lanehouse Rocks Road and and Chickerell Road are not working. 


There are power cuts in parts of Dorset this morning.

Scottish and Southern Energy Networks estimate around 30,000 customers are affected.
