Julia Morris, the Radiology Services Manager said:

"Vacuum biopsy is an established technique which allows quicker, more accurate diagnosis of certain types of breast cancer and can also rule out cancer in some cases.

"Having access to a VAB machine in Dorchester will be a tremendous asset for us and for the people of West Dorset."

Going for Bust has previously supported the Hospital by donating £7,686 for a specialist Breast Board used in radiotherapy treatment.
