Police tackle anti-social behaviour on Weymouth seafront

Published by Maria Greenwood at 11:12am 28th February 2020.

Police in Weymouth say they're taking action to tackle anti-social behaviour in the seafront shelters.

Groups are being moved on and officers say anyone who continues to cause problems will be dealt with using legislation.

They're urging us to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour which we see.

A spokesman for Weymouth & Portland Police said:

"This isn't always a quick process as we have to gather evidence of specific behaviour.

"Information provided to us by members of the community is vitally important."

'How to report anti-social behaviour'
