Flats in Weymouth created for people with learning disabilities

Flats at a property in Roundhayes Close in Weymouth are to be switched to use by people with  learning disabilities.

The home, No 13, had been used since 2014 for mental health supported accommodation by Dorset NHS but it has decided this is no longer needed.

Dorset Council has agreed to the conversion to six self-contained flats with accommodation for staff.

The only external changes will be a new door and window.

One neighbour had complained that the change would result in an over commercialisation of a residential road.
