The lucky winner of a Euromillions ticket bought in Dorset has finally claimed their winnings.

After searching since October, the winner of the £1,844,973.60 has finally claimed their prize.

Camelot's Andy Carter, Senior Winners' Advisor at The National Lottery said:

"We're delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win. It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this life-changing amount of money.

"We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play."

The lucky ticket-holder's prize was a result of the EuroMillions roll series at the time, which culminated in one lucky UK ticket-holder winning the astounding £170M jackpot in the draw on 8 October.

Once the EuroMillions jackpot reached its cap of 190 Million Euros, players matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star won bigger prizes.
