Weymouth Pavilion say they have no option now but to postpone all shows and events until May.

The announcement comes after government advice yesterday to avoid pubs, restaurants and theatres.

A statement from Weymouth Pavilion said:

"Following the Government announcement on Monday 16th March, Weymouth Pavilion is left with no option but to postpone all shows and events initially between now and the end of April.

"We will review shows from 1st May onwards when the situation becomes more clear."

They are assuring everyone who has tickets for any of the affected shows that they'll be in touch.

The Box Office will remain open to the public during the day for enquiries, future ticket bookings and light refreshments.

They added in their statement:

"During these unprecedented times Weymouth Pavillion needs your support.

"Please consider making a donation to help the theatre survive."

If you've bought any tickets for upcoming shows through Wessex FM, advice is still the same. Weymouth Pavilion's Box Office will be in touch with you. Please do not call the Box Office.
