Coronavirus: Seven patients die in Dorset

Seven people have died after testing positive for coronavirus in Dorset.

It comes as NHS England announce a further 367 deaths in England, bringing the total to 1,651.

Patients were aged between 19 and 98 years old. 28 of the patients between the ages of 19 and 91 years old had no underlying health conditions.


Where did the deaths happen?

Dorset County Hospital reported one death on Tuesday 24th of March and another at Dorset Healthcare University on Wednesday 25th March.

Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals recorded four deaths. Two on Friday 27th March, one on Saturday 28th March and another on Monday 30th March.

Poole Hospital recorded one death on Friday 27th March.

No other information is known about the patients.
