Coronavirus: Eleven patients die in Dorset

Eleven more patients in Dorset have died after testing positive for COVID-19

NHS England announced that eleven more patients have died across Dorset's NHS trusts.

It takes the total number of deaths in the county to 41.

One of the deaths was at Dorset County Hospital, 2 were at Dorset HealthCare, 5 were at Poole Hospital and 3 were at Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals since 4th April.

Another 758 people have died in England after testing positive for the virus, bringing the national total to 5,655.

Current data suggests there were no deaths related to the virus in Dorset on Sunday 5th of April, but NHS England say the data is subject to updates.
