Dorset Council have put together online resources to help families over the Easter Break.

These includes arts, crafts, books, audio and online learning platforms.

Their Easter arts, sports and music workshops are now available on their website.

They will be posted on Facebook every day at 2pm and can be viewed at anytime.

Workshops offer singalongs with Mr Crow to ball game ideas with items like rolled up socks.

Cllr Andrew Parry, Dorset Council Portfolio Holder for Children, Education and Early Help, says:

"I hope children will enjoy these workshops, they look a lot of fun.

"I also hope they'll help parents and carers a bit.

"I realise so many of you are doing an amazing job looking after children at home to protect the NHS, while also working.

"This is not an easy time for many families and I do hope these workshops provide a little bit of cheer.

"If your child likes songs, games, music and sport, then why not give them a try."

The Artz+ and Sportz+ workshops are usually run in the holidays for children with disabilities, but the online ones are suitable for all children.

Videos are led by people who specialise in working with children and usually last between five to 20 minutes. They can be done inside or outside.
