Weymouth DJ in 24 hour 'social disco-ing' challenge

A Weymouth DJ and Entertainer is hosting a 24-hour Music Marathon to raise money for the NHS and Key Workers in Dorset.

Caleb Morris is setting up a disco in his living room and will be live streaming his DJ set from his Facebook page, 'Calebrations Road Show'.

It all starts tonight ( 23rd April) from 7:30pm, with entertainment for everyone including a kid's hour, party dances and comedy magic all in aid of the 'Dorset County Hospital COVID-19 Appeal'.

Caleb Told Wessex FM he just wanted to do something different for our local key workers:

"A lot of them are currently working around the clock to provide the things that we need to keep functioning such as food, care and other essentials.

"This is just a very small way for me to join their efforts whilst raising money for Dorset County Hospital."

Caleb says we can ask for shout outs and song requests too:

"You can drop me a private messaged, you can comment on the live feed. The great part about it is that anyone can tune it at any time.

"I'm planning on doing some themes hours to change it up a bit as the livestream goes on."

The live stream will be from Caleb's living room and says he will carry on through until Friday evening:

"It's a 24-Hour Music Marathon but I want to raise as much money for the fundraiser as I can. I won't say no to playing even longer is someone is willing to dip into their wallet for me to do so."

This isn't the first disco Caleb has streamed from his living room, he plays music and does roadshow's when not in lockdown.
