An NHS building in Dorchester's been targetted with graffiti.

Graffiti which appears to be supportive of the NHS has appeared on an NHS building in the town.

Officers investigating a report of criminal damage are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Police were called at 1.42 pm today after reports graffiti had been sprayed on the side of the building in Trinity Street.

The offence is believed to have occurred on the night of Thursday 30 April 2020.

Sergeant Andy Napper, of Dorchester police, said:

“We are fully supportive of the heroic efforts of the NHS at this time and will be carrying out a full investigation into this matter. I would urge anyone with information as to who is responsible to please contact us.

“Although the content of the graffiti appears to indicate support for the NHS, it will cost a substantial amount to repair.”
