Dorset Knob Eating makes a comeback today

Dorset's favourite knob-related pastime is back... and it's making its online debut!

This year's Dorset Knob Festival was called off due to coronavirus restrictions but it's coming back this weekend with the Dorset Knob Eating contest.

100 contestants are taking part in the competition which will be live-streamed as part of Weldmar's big weekend today.

They'll have one minute to eat as many knobs as they can, all whilst raising money for charity.

They'll go head to head in heats from 10 am with the final taking place later on in the day. Entries have closed for the contest.

It's part of a whole host of events being run in aid of Weldmar Hospicecare, including Virtual Quayfest 2 which also takes place today.

All of the events are being live-streamed to encourage us to stay home during the bank holiday weekend.
