No COVID-19 deaths in Dorset Hospitals for two days

There have been no deaths related to coronavirus in Dorset's Hospitals in two days.

The last patient to die after testing positive for coronavirus at Dorset County Hospital died over three weeks ago.

NHS England announced no further deaths at the county's hospitals today, leaving the total at 142.

However, a total of 122 deaths have also occurred in care homes, hospices, private homes and other establishments.

A further 244 people who tested positive for COVID-19 in England have died in hospitals.

Patients were aged between 33 and 100 years old.  6 of the 244 patients (aged between 35 and 95 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
