Man charged with possession of Class A drugs on Portland

A man's been arrested and charged for possessing suspected Class A drugs at an address on Portland.

County Lines Police Officers arrested a 49-year-old man at an address on Portland on Wednesday 13th May 2020 at around 4:15 pm.

The man was arrested under suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs as a result of reports of suspicious activity in the area.

He was searched and found to have a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs wraps. Police also seized more items upon a further search of the property.

The man has since been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine. 

He has been remanded in custody to appear in court today.
