A large bonfire spread to rubbish

Firefighters have tackled a blaze sparked by a bonfire that spread to farmyard rubbish near Corfe Castle.

The crew from Wareham were called just before midnight on Friday June 5.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said a large bonfire spread to rubbish in a farmyard.

Elsewhere Dorset firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze caused by a BBQ.  

A crew from Lyme Regis attended Monmouth beach car park on the evening of Friday June 5.  

They managed to safely put out the fire that had taken hold in a bin.

In Weymouth a crew extinguished a gorse bush fire at Lodmoor Nature Reserve this morning.
