A woman from Weymouth's run 133 miles so far to raise money and awareness for mental health.

Juliet Hyslop says since lockdown began she's been running 'Mental miles', around 5 kilometers for charity when she is able to.

She says it's to help herself manage anxiety and depression symptoms but, also raise money for Dorset MIND.

Juliet said:

"There's obviously been a lot of stigma attached to mental health for many, many years, but I think it's getting a lot better.

"I've just decided that, especially with the pandemic and everything going on, mental health is a very, very big issue.

"Not necessarily for people that ordinarily suffer from mental health issues, but I think people that don't are struggling now too.

"There is also a huge percentage of people right now who’ve never suffered poor mental health but due to this horrendous pandemic, they are also being affected. No one is immune."

The pandemic's made her symptoms worse but she says people who wouldn't ordinarily experience anxiety and depression are now noticing symptoms too.

Juliet says she's planning to keep running even after the lockdown's ended.

So far she's raised £240.
