Two people have been banned from parts of Weymouth by police.

A 23-year-old man has been served a Community Protection Notice Warning that bars him from entering parts of Weymouth.

He had been causing anti-social behaviour in the Park District area of the town.

He could be arrested if he breaches the conditions of the notice, or if he acts in an anti-social manner.

A 32-year-old woman was issued a dispersal order and told to leave Weymouth. If she returns within 24 hours of the order she could be arrested.

The woman was causing antisocial behaviour near Weymouth Train Station and was directed to leave the town by police.

Weymouth and Portland Police say they're currently unable to provide pictures of the two people. They're asking members of the community to keep an eye out and report any anti-social behaviour.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:

"It is only possible for us to take positive action against these individuals if the community report their concerns to us."
