More Support for Weymouth Bars

Published at 7:33am 27th June 2011. (Updated at 10:09am 27th June 2011)

Bar owners in Weymouth trying to stop a new policy that will prevent drinkers from sitting outside after 11pm are winning support for their cause.

Two Labour Councillors including Andy Blackwood the Brief Holder for Culture, Tourism and Leisure are calling for an urgent debate on the policy which comes in in August.

More than 600 people have now signed a petition against the new rules which also stop you from sitting outside a café and eating your breakfast before 8am.
