Two Healths Hubs Merging In Dorset

Published at 6:46am 28th June 2011.

More patients, and more work, NHS staff at two important health hubs are merging in Dorset.

Community health services across the county will be provided by the University NHS Foundation Trust from July 1st.

They already provide a wide range of services and will now have to broaden their range of care to educate more people on a variety of health issues.

The decision to combine the services was made following a review by NHS staff and patient representatives.
