2 Arrested For Drugs Offences Near Dorchester

Two men have been arrested near Dorchester on drugs offences after being stopped by officers during a routine check over the weekend.

At 10am on Saturday a car was stopped on the A37 at Wardon Hill.

Four men were detained by Police for a drugs search.

A 20 year Bristol man and a 22 year old from Portland were arrested for possession of drugs, one for intent to supply.

A number of illegal substances were seized and have been sent off for forensic tests while the two men have been released on police bail.
