We had an unexpected visitor to West Dorset's shores this Christmas.

A shark was found washed up at Hive Beach at Burton Bradstock on Boxing Day by one of the local dog walkers.

It was then reported to the Hive Beach Cafe, whose owner Graham Wiffen told us it was around 150 lbs and about 6 foot long.

He told us that it's very unusual, and many people came down to take a picture.

It was reported to the National Trust and has since been removed.
