Consumer's getting protected by new advice in Dorchester and Weymouth

7:52am 16th April 2012

The Citizens Advice Bureau are well known for the help they've been giving people through their offices in Dorchester, Weymouth and Bridport over the years.

And now they've been given greater powers to protect consumers.

The government says it'll help to streamline consumer advice.

CAB Director of Policy Teresa Perchard says they're needed more than ever in the current economic climate; “Tight financial circumstances has resulted in an increase in rip-off’s and fair trading practices. People need to know where they can get help and advice to make it simpler for the public.”
