Inquest Opens Into Death Of Teenage Driver

The inquest has opened into the death of the teenage driver who was killed in Blandford on  Monday evening.

19-year-old Benjamin Andrews from Poole died on the A354 between Blandford and Pimperne when his VW Golf collided with a Citroen C4.

His two 18 year old passengers were seriously injured, as was the driver of the Citroen.

He was taken to Dorset County Hospital - and has been arrested on suspicion of motoring offences.

The 19 year old from Blandord has been bailed - and the inquest adjourned.
