Business News - The End Of Clinton Cards?

Clinton Dorchester

4:22pm 9th May 2012

Clinton Cards is set to lose its fight for survival after its largest supplier said it'll force it into administration.

The move comes after its banks sold the company's £35M of loans to American Greetings.

The retailer has 628 Clintons and 139 Birthdays stores, including Weymouth, Dorchester and Bridport.

They've requested that its shares be suspended on the London Stock Exchange.
